What is TOUCH Giving Festival?
TOUCH Giving Festival is a 1-day charity carnival cum bazaar for family and friends! Run for a good cause, Try your hand at fun carnival games, and support local talent by shopping from a range of artisan goods and mouth-watering treats!
Proceeds from the Festival will go towards impacting the lives of more than 31,000 individuals and families in need under the care of TOUCH.
What should I bring?
Bring your loved ones and a fun-loving attitude! But also, do remember to bring your Festival Coupons for any purchases you’d wish to make.
Will there be people available to help take care of my child/children?
Child-care corners and babysitters will not be provided. After all, TOUCH Giving Festival is about having fun and spending precious time together with your family and friends!
Must I stay through the whole event?
You may come and go as you wish but we’d love to have you back for more festival fun!
Can I bring my pet?
As much as we love our furry friends, pets are not allowed at the event venue.
What happens if it rains?
The event will go on if it rains, unless the rain is torrential and is considered dangerous during that period. If this is the case, every effort will be made to notify all participants to take shelter immediately. Only when the rain has cleared and it is safe again, will outdoor activities resume.
Activities conducted at the sheltered area will not be affected by weather conditions.
Festival Coupons will not be refunded in the event of rain.
What is the minimum age to participate in TOUCH Giving Festival?
Everyone is welcomed! There are no age restrictions in the event.
How can I purchase coupons for The Giving Family Festival?
You may purchase your Festival Coupons here. Alternatively, you can purchase more coupons on the day itself.
What payment methods are suitable for the festival?
We will only accept coupons on the day itself.
How much do the coupon booklets cost?
Coupon booklets are available at $50 each.
How will I know if my purchase has been successful?
You will receive an email confirmation upon successful registration / coupon purchase.
When will I receive my coupons after making the purchase?
You will receive your coupons within two weeks of making your purchase.
I keyed in the wrong address. Can I make changes to my personal particulars after submitting my registration/purchase?

Can I get a refund if I can’t come?
Coupons are not refundable once they’ve been purchased.
When is the registration period, and how much does registration for the run cost?
The registration period is from 3rd May 2019 to 30 August 2019. The registration is $25 for early bird, and $30 for regular pricing.
When does Early Bird end?
Early Bird will end on 14 July 2019. Sign up for the run before then!
Can I sign up for the run on the day of the event?
We strongly encourage sign-ups to be done during the registration period.
How do I sign up as a group?
One person from the group must register first. Upon registering, he will receive a group ID. This group ID shall be shared and used by group members when they register to will immediately make them part of the group.
Must all group members in a group support the same Hope as one another?
Yes, individuals in a group must support and raise funds for the same Hope.
What are the modes of payment accepted?
For online registrations, payment by Mastercard or Visa is accepted.
Are Online Donations Tax-Deductible?
Yes, donations to TOUCH Community Services Limited are eligible for a 250% tax deduction for the year. To enjoy the tax deduction benefit, donors have to submit their donations to TOUCH by 31 December in order for it to be included in the tax assessment. Acknowledgement for tax deductible receipt is automatically given for donations $50 and above and only upon request for donations below $50.
Why is my contribution not appearing on my family/friends fundraising page?
Donors are to be redirected from PayPal to our event website’s Thank You page in order for the donation to be reflected on the fundraising page.

Where are the start and end points of the run?
Both the start and end points will be located near the Singapore Sports Hub, OCBC Square.
What time does each run category start?
The run will start at 8.00am.
What time and where should I report to on the day itself?
Participants are encouraged to report at least 30 minutes before the allocated start time, at Singapore Sports Hub, OCBC Square.
What will happen if I miss my flag off timing?
Participants will be given a 15-minute grace period from the allocated start timings, thereafter they will not be allowed to participate in the run. This is for better traffic control and other safety reasons.
Can I run without my number bib?
No. Runners without their number bibs will not be allowed to participate.
Is there safety coverage along the run route?
There will be first aiders on stand-by at all the waterpoints. A safety vehicle will also be on stand-by for any emergency activation. Injured participants will be transported back to the start point or to the hospital where applicable.
What happens if it rains?
The run will continue if it is a drizzle. In the event of bad weather (with lightning risk), the Organiser reserves the right to delay the commencement of the run, shorten the run or modify the run course. However, should the bad weather persist, the Organiser reserves the right to cancel the run without any refund of the registration fee.
Where are the refreshments provided for the runners?
There will be water points located along the run route and at the end of the run.
If I cannot make it for the run due to unforeseen circumstances, can someone else run in my place?
No. Registration for the run is non-transferable.
Can I get a refund if I fall ill on the race day and am unable to participate?
No, there will be strictly NO refund of registration fee in the event that a participant fails to turn up on the run day.
Do I get a refund if I choose not to participate in the run after registration?
No. The registration fee is strictly non-refundable.
Can I participate in the carnival if I did not sign up for the run?
Yes. The carnival is open to the public and you are welcome to visit the carnival booths.

Can I change my T-shirt size?
Size selection is to be made during registration. Exchange of shirt sizes will not be allowed.
When and where can I collect my T-shirt and race pack?
Please refer to Run Details Page for more information.
Are there other dates to collect my T-shirt and race pack?
No. Please collect them on the date stated. The Event Organiser may / may not open a booth for T-shirt / race pack collection on the actual run day.
May I authorise someone to collect the T-shirt / race pack on my behalf?
Yes. He/ she will have to present the completed Letter of Authorisation, printed or e-copy of the confirmation email, and his/her original NRIC/FIN/Passport.
